At Optime Care, we are fortunate to be surrounded by inspiring patients, clients, and colleagues. On this week during which our country focuses on gratitude, we wanted to take a moment to show our thankfulness for the rare people at Optime Care.
When we asked ourselves what makes us most grateful, of course, something magical happened. We found that our reflection on the people and relationships from the past are giving us a sense of strength and courage. In other words, thinking back helped us to look forward.
We hope that, in reading a handful from our gratitude list, the same happens for you. We hope that you are reminded of the people and moments that inspire your gratitude. And that it gives you more courage as we head into a new year.
Thinking back on the past year, what are you thankful for?
“I’m thankful for my family.”
Renee Durbin, CPhT, Senior Care Coordinator
“I would have to say the one thing I am most thankful for are my children.”
Danielle Mendenhall, Administrative Assistant
“I’m so grateful for my colleagues! The people of Optime are real. We strive to be realistic, altruistic, and genuine. This may appear to be an impossible mix of fallible human characteristics destined to falter in a cutting-edge world, but, in reality, these idealistic qualities are refreshing to our patients in the midst of mindboggling modern medicine; they make us vulnerable but able…able to meet the patient at their needs, communicate empathy and understanding, and offer to walk with them along a brighter path for their healthcare journey. We appreciate our patients, and they return that appreciation daily. I am so very thankful to be a part of this!”
Luann Quach, Pharmacist
“I am thankful for the personal relationships I have gained while working here. The personal and professional support is like something I have never experienced before, and I am so grateful for that.”
Carlie Aubuchon, Senior Accountant
“I’m truly thankful for the kind people I get to work beside every day. They make this journey fun! Additionally, I am thankful for the love and support of my family. I couldn’t have poured my passion into Optime without the support of a husband who runs my kiddos to all the places (hockey rinks!) they need to be when they need to be there or my understanding kiddos who greet me on late evenings with a smile and a hug.”
Tina Pheasant, Senior Vice President of IT
What makes the work we do at Optime Care special?
“We treat everyone and every patient as if they were family. We make sure to give each and every person the individualized care they need.”
Renee Durbin, CPhT, Senior Care Coordinator
“The best thing about working at Optime Care are my coworkers. Never in my life, have I ever worked for such caring, good hearted down to earth, will do ANYTHING for you people! Just being here puts a smile on my face.”
Danielle Mendenhall, Administrative Assistant
“Optime Care is company of hearts that dream together, fight for the patient together, and win together.”
Luann Quach, Pharmacist
“There is obvious and genuine care for all of the patients as well as the employees. The commitment to and effort in maintaining and improving the ‘magic’ here is always visible.”
Carlie Aubuchon, Senior Accountant
“Optime Care’s magic is infectious. Just walk in our building and you will feel what I am talking about. People care about one another and those we help along the trusted path (our patients). It’s a feeling of being able to play but work hard and of people enjoying and believing in what they are doing.”
Tina Pheasant, Senior Vice President of IT
